Our food is hand-crafted from gluten-free, non-GMO ingredients. We create everything from scratch, including sauces and our house-made tortillas.
Our ingredients are sourced with the highest integrity, focusing on products cultivated around respect for the land, animals, and farmers. We use as many organic ingredients as are available in our area. Our local suppliers include Mahaffey Farms, Smith Family Farms, Sample Farm, and Nourishing Farms.

Our Commitment
El Cabo Verde is part of the Slow Foods movement. We create our dishes from scratch; nothing is bought pre-made. On the east side of the restaurant sits a small organic chef’s garden, where we grow fresh herbs and produce. We often feature ingredients from the garden in our daily specials.
We hope to inspire our community to appreciate the slow food movement and embrace a healthful lifestyle.
Our People
Our diverse team—led by Chef Gabriel— is comprised of natives of Mexico, Myanmar, Guatemala, and other Latin American countries. We infuse authentic flavors into every dish we serve.
